Parking

 

On-street parking is available in the local area. There is also a public car park on Main Street just a few minutes walk away.

 

 

 

Disabled Access

 

We are fully accessible for patients with a disability. There is a step located at the front of the building however we do have a portable ramp - please telephone our receptionist in advance and we can have it in place. We have a ground floor dental surgery and ground floor disabled WC facilities.

 

Town Centre Location

 

We are located on Main Street, beside Roe Pharmacy.

 

 

Rotary Endodontics

 

We believe in using the best available materials and technology wherever possible. Therefore we use rotary (motorised) instruments which are single use and disposed of as per DHSSPS guidelines. These instruments are very flexible and clean the roots of teeth efficiently. Patients report that these instruments make the root canal procedure more comfortable than traditional hand instruments.

 

HTM 01-05 Compliance

 

We are committed to meeting best practice as per health care regulations. We have a fully operational Local Decontamination Room for cleaning, processing and sterilising instruments and equipment.

 

We have recently completed our Regulation & Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) inspection and are delighted that the inspector passed us for registration.

 

RQIA is responsible for registering, inspecting and encouraging improvement in a range of health and social care services delivered by statutory and independent providers, in accordance with The Health and Personal Social Services (Quality, Improvement and Regulation)(Northern Ireland) Order 2003 and its supporting regulations.

 

The inspection process included interviews with practice staff, and the inspector spent time observing instrument sterilisation in the practice decontamination unit, along with reviewing our policies and procedures such as administration, human resources, clinical, health & safety and medical emergencies.
