Dental Emergencies

Due to ongoing restrictions on the delivery of dental treatment, we are providing a limited dental service.

Please telephone the surgery and we will discuss with you your problem and endeavour to arrange an appointment if it meets criteria for treatment. If we are unable to provide a certain procedure then you will be placed on a waiting list for this. Please note this is for registered patients only (NHS registration lasts 2 years from last check-up).

Please note to avail of a same day emergency slot you must telephone between the hours of 8.30am and 9.30am in order that our team can triage the calls that day and allocate a slot based on dental need. These slots are at specific times in the day and cannot be booked in advance (ie, can only be allocated on the day).

We have to carry out enhanced cleaning between patients and due to the increased risk of virus transmission in dental aerosols, surgeries must be vacated for 10 minutes after a procedure has been carried out before being deep cleaned. This means that available slots are considerably reduced and we will need to prioritise these appointments based on dental need.

Routine appointments are unavailable at present but we are working hard to clear the backlog of treatment created during COVID-19.

We thank you for your patience at this time and we will be in touch with our patients when we are in a position to offer routine appointments again.
